George Washington is the specific historic thing that we can think of. He was made in the 1990s. JK this ain’t about washington, these paragraphs are about how smartphones have improved over time. Smartphone technology has improved so much its Sico Crazy! Now when you want to randomly now where your daughters phone is (so you can take it to teach her a lesson).
Now you don't have to wait because you can just look on your smartphone and see where it is, and you don't have to wait to go to your daughter to ask her and spoil it. We wouldn’t want to do that now would we? ;)
You can also see how much food you are eating throughout the day to make sure that you are eating good food or something. Smartphone can even see what mood you are in! (By taking some pics;).
Smartphones have improved so much that it can self track almost everything about you so that you can be a better person(if you don’t want to though you don’t have to). It’s like what I always say be yourself unless you can be a smartphone. (Or a unicorn if you want to be cooler). :P
In the later part of the 1990s, many mobile phone users began carrying PDAs (personal digital assistants). Early PDAs ran on various systems such as Blackberry OS, and Palm OS. Nokia released a phone combined with a PDA in 1996. The device was called the Nokia 9000. In 1999, a smartphone was released by Qualcomm.
The pdQ smartphone, as it was called, featured a Palm PDA with internet connectivity capabilities. Smartphone technology continued to advance throughout the early 2000s. These advances in technology brought about the introduction of the iPhone, the Android operating system and more.
It seems as though just about everyone owns a smartphone, even though it wasn't that long ago that the technology was first introduced to the general public. With their advanced computing capabilities and other features, smartphones have quickly gained popularity. Prior to the invention of smartphones, there were several devices that were used including regular mobile phones, and PDA devices. Eventually technology was combined and the concept of the smartphone was born.
What it is?! What is it?! How is it WATERPROOF!!!!???? REALLY! you are asking me these questions???!!! Well you will have to read this paragraph on smartphones are waterproof to find out the answers to that. Simon on I.B.M, The Smartphone tracker. It is more resilient(strong).
Not like the IPhone it can break just from falling on the ground, but not the Smartphone it has the strongest back a phone can have so it doesn’t break. That is strong! It can go threw bumps, shakes like if you're on a bike, so when you sweat from exercise It doesn't get damaged. The Smartphone is sweatproof. Sorry I guess I meant waterproof.( Most Smartphones aren't but the one I’m talking about is.)
A smartphone is a cellular telephone with an integrated computer and other features not originally associated with telephones, such as an operating system, Web browsing and the ability to run software applications. The first smartphone was IBM's Simon, which was presented as a concept device (rather than a consumer device) at the 1992 COMDEX computer industry trade show.
What's the difference between a smartphone and a cell phone? When Simon Watsford debuted, the smartphone's features clearly differentiated it from other cell phones, which at that time were just telephones that didn't need a landline connection. There is no standard definition that clearly delineates a smartphone -- many devices marketed simply as cell phones offer similar features to those marketed as smartphones.
Now that we’re well into the 21st century, our “communicators” make the ones on “Star Trek” seem like antiques. Not only can we talk to one another on our smartphones, but we can text, play music or a game, get directions, take pictures, check e-mail, find a great restaurant, surf the Internet, watch a movie. You get the idea. Smartphones are cell phones on steroids. Whaaaaa?
Unlike traditional cell phones, Smartphones, with their big old memories, allow individual users like you and me to install, configure and run applications, or apps, of our choosing. A Smartphone offers the ability to configure the device to your particular way of doing things.
The availability of hardware and software determines how smartphones work, or, for that matter, that they even exist. With the advent of touch screens that actually gave users a responsive surface, smartphone interfaces become more intuitive. Furthermore, the introduction of geolocation technology as an integrated part of cellular provider services provided applications with a way to locate the user on maps or for social networking purposes.
Small and portable long-term memory gave these phones the ability to store pictures and other media. Finally, mobile device-specific operating systems brought all this technology together into a smartphone that can take pictures, browse the Internet, and run applications. This collection of technology is what makes smartphones work.
