Dogs are important to humans, and humans are important to dogs!
There is no reason that anyone should treat dogs worse than they treat their car! The best breed of dog a Miniature Bulldog. People think that Bulldogs are mean, but they are actually one of the top ten nicest dogs! (they are the 4th nicest) The reason people think they are mean is because cowboys used to see whose Bulldog was the best, and they made there Bulldogs wrestle bulls (How mean), and guard there houses. That is how they got their name! Bulldogs are named after what they did, not what they act like!

In the middle of the flag, is a ball with spikes and their state seal is inside, on it says;
GREAT <1889> SEAL
It looks like this.
In the ball of spikes there are more words that say; Under God the People Rule, that is their state motto. In their seal there is a picture of a river with a steamboat, a man plowing his field with horses and a coalmine. The state seal is a symbol of life in South Dakota. It depicts the state's resources: farming, ranching, industries, lumbering, manufacturing and mining. Their state song is called ''Hail South Dakota'' these are its lyrics;
Hail! South Dakota, A great state of the land, Health, wealth and beauty, That's what makes her grand; She has her Black Hills, And mines with gold so rare, And with her scenery, No other state can compare.
Come where the sun shines, And where life's worth your while, You won't be here long, 'Till you'll wear a smile; No state's so healthy, And no folk quite so true, To South Dakota. We welcome you.
Hail! South Dakota, The state we love the best, Land of our fathers, Builders of the west; Home of the Badlands, and Rushmore's ageless shrine, Black Hills and prairies, Farmland and Sunshine. Hills, farms and prairies, Blessed with bright Sunshine.
