(p)Did you know that the Apache and Navajo are related

       And    speak a similar language?  Well, that is not theonly interesting thing about the Apache!  They also have a history full of traditions that go back very long ago.  Also there is a very interesting food and diet. Modern day Apache Indians are very different from long ago you know.  (P)   In this parpgraph I will tell you the history of the apache.    The apache got their tribes name from the pueblo Indians who called them “apachu” which means enemy.  Most of the time the Apache would exchange meat, bones, and hides in return the Pueblos would give them pottery blankets torques and corn goods. But eventually the apache just took what they wanted with out trading.  They where also known as warlike Indians because they kept raiding the early Spanish settlers.  They could also run up to 50 miles and travel more swiftly than a mounted soldier! 

(p) The apache have a very interesting diet and food chose.      The Apache Indians would eat wild plants and berries.  The women would gather the food and would also gather wood for the food.  Most of the time they kept on moving from camp to camp in search for food.  They looked for deer, buffalo, and some time seeds for planting to later returning for the     (p)Did you know that the Apache and Navajo are related

       If you hade any idea there are still Apache Indians to day.  The modern day Apache Indians live in a reserved land in Arizona and New Mexico.  There are about 55,000 Apache Indians to day.  The average Apache language is spoken by only 200-300 apaches. The modern day Apache Indians make a living by owning there own companies.  They do cattling and logging.  I’ve enjoyed learning about the Apache Indians.  And the way they ate, there traditions the history of the apache.
