Something that might get your attention

What do you get when you cross a chicken with a man? You get a clam, because a chicken “clucks” and a man is a man.  Makes sense, right? Now, think what you get when you cross a windshield with one of the greatest pieces of technology ever invented. If this doesn’t make sense, or if you would like to know about this “certain piece of technology” then keep reading to find out what it is, how it works, and the history of it and a few surprises.

What this interesting piece of technology is?

This certain piece of technology.  This certain piece of technology is called night vision. Night Vision is an invention that lets you see in the dark.  Some examples of Night Vision are windshields, goggles, cameras, scopes, telescopes, binoculars, video cameras, security cameras, etc.  Also the two types of Night Vision are, infrared (Thermal imaging), and normal Night Vision.  They are good types of Night Vision.  Infrared lets you see heat from a person, animal or anything that gives off heat.  Normal Night Vision is great too.  In Normal Night Vision you see green and dark colors.

Who uses night vision?  The people that use night vision are easy to guess, but I will tell you anyways. The army, they use night vision because, long ago the army couldn’t see where they were shooting at night. Sometimes they would shoot each other.  My brother uses night vision in the army.  Fireman, Policeman, etc. they all use night vision to find people in the dark.  Hunters and people like you and me can use night vision too. Hunters use it more than people like you and me.  I want to try night vision sometime.

Did you know?  Cats use infrared too.  There whole vision is based on infrared.  Satellites use infrared too.  They take pictures of the earth with infrared.  Remote controls use infrared too.  They send the signal to change the channel or turn up the volume or turn the TV off.  Try pointing it at a cat, something might happen.

How Night Vision Works

Night Vision works in many ways.  Night Vision windshields are known as Night Driver.  Night Driver is great for driving in the dark.  Normal light from cars makes it kind of hard to see very far.  Infrared known as Thermal Imaging lets you see heat.  The heat then turns red immediately. It helps a lot, you can see stuff that doesn’t give of heat.  The stuff that doesn’t give of heat turns a dark color.  Night Vision is a great invention.

Night Driver is a different way to use Night Vision.  Night Driver lets you see as far as you can in daylight.  The things you see in Night Driver are grey and black. The more heat it gives of, the more grey it is. Night Driver is a great invention for cars.

Infrared, is a great way to see on your feet.  Infrared known as Thermal Imaging lets you see heat.  A lot heat is really red, little heat like trees are a little dark but are still red.  Infrared is great, I want to try Infrared.

Night Vision. The first type of Night Vision.  Normal Night Vision turns everything green and dark.  Most of the stuff you see is green.  Trees are a little dark.  If you tried to tackle someone in pitch black, you wouldn’t know where the person is, but if you had night vision you could easily see the person you are trying to tackle.

Night Vision, the greatest way to see in the dark.  TVs, Gamboy Advance SPs, DSes, Computers etc, they all have lights, Night Vision however uses something else that lets you see in the dark. Those things make it easy to see sometimes and hard to see sometimes.  Night Vision lets you see like you would in the daylight except different color.

A little bit of the History of Night Vision

When Night Vision was invented, if you don’t know then keep reading. According to the military, Night Vision was invented in the 1950’s and has changed the way wars are happening.

REMEMBER THIS?

Remember this? What do you get when you cross a chicken with a man? You get a clam, because a chicken “clucks” and a man is a man.  Makes sense, right? Now, think what you get when you cross a windshield with one of the greatest pieces of technology ever invented. Did you ever find out what it makes? Now you know that “one of the greatest pieces of technology” is night vision. Now, cross a windshield with night vision (you should know this one because I told you what it is in the article) it’s night driver. I have to give credit Jeff Tyson; his article helped me a lot on this piece of technology.
