Intro

Have you ever been in the car and one of your parents are trying to drive and talk at the same time.  And it seems really dangerous because they have the phone in between their shoulder and neck, plus their trying to drive at the same time. Well let me introduce you to the iPhone. The iPhone has earphones like the iPod but it also has a mike on the cord. Pretty handy ha? Also have you ever herd of the Google-Phone. If you havenÕt this is a good chance for you to learn about it.

What they are

In this paragraph IÕll tell you whatÕs important about the iPhone. As you saw on the last paragraph the iPhone has a lot of features but now IÕm going to tell you why itÕs so important. According to http://www.wikipedia.org/ it was named Time magazine's Invention of the Year in 2007. Which I totally agree with. I actually get to play with one pretty often. And I love the way it is manufactured. ItÕs a pretty handy phone.

The Google phone hasnÕt been released yet. But it will be released in 2009. But they are going to have the coolest models ever of the google phone so you better start saving up for one right now. Just so you know, another name for the google phone is the gphone, which I think sounds better.

History

Incase youÕve been wandering I am going to talk about the google phone. In fact IÕm going to talk about it right now. YouÕre probably wandering what in the heck the google phone is. So IÕm going to tell you about it. To begin according to http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/google-phone/gphone-is-official-+-a-software-platform/ in September 2, 2007, ŌThe golden ticket is a chance to see a prototype of Google's new mobile phone which Miner has shown to a handful of Boston entrepreneurs and venture capitalistsĶ. So that is when it was introduced.

Now IÕm going to talk more about the iPhone for just a while longer. According to http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/iphone.htm in January 2007, Steve Jobs introduced the Apple iPhone during his keynote address at the Macworld Conference and Expo. In its first appearance onscreen and in Jobs's hand, the phone looked like a sleek but inanimate black rectangle. ThatÕs what happened when the iPhone was introduced. ItÕs awesome how cool our technology is. IsnÕt it?

How the iPhone works

This paragraph is about what the iPhone can do.  The iPhone has a touch screen on it. According to Tracy V. Wilson ŌIn some ways, the iPhone is more like a palmtop computer than a cellular phone. You can use it to make and receive calls, watch movies, listen to music, browse the Web, and send and receive e-mail and text messages. You can also take pictures with a built-in camera, import photos from your computer and organize them all using the iPhone's software. Although it's not a turn-by-turn GPS receiver, the iPhone also lets you view map and satellite data from Google Maps, including overlays of nearby businesses.Ķ so you might as well go to a phone store and by one because as you can see it does a lot of stuff. Today apple has soled way over 1,000,000 iPhones.

Conclusion

As you can see the iPhone and gphone are both great phones. So if you donÕt have one I hope you want one. And if you do I hope youÕve been enjoying yourself. So now I hope you can go to someone and say you learned something new.
