Do you like video games well here we have all the information even to write a book and it some great information we have information about the first video games the history of video games and how they work.

First Video Game

The first game ever made by mankind was... According to William Hunter. Before the era of electronic ping-pong, hungry yellow dots, plumbers, mushrooms, and fire-flowers, people waited in line to play video games at roller-skating rinks, arcades, and other hangouts. Fifty years ago, before either arcades or home video games, visitors waited in line at Brookhaven National Laboratory to play ŇTennis for Two,Ó an electronic tennis game that is unquestionably a forerunner of the modern video game. Tennis for Two was first introduced on October 18, 1958, at one of the LabŐs annual visitorsŐ days. Two people played the electronic tennis game with separate controllers that connected to an analog computer and used an oscilloscope for a screen. The gameŐs creator, William Higginbotham, was a nuclear physicist who had worked on the Manhattan Project and lobbied for nuclear nonproliferation as the first chair of the Federation of American Scientists.  But still the first computer/video game was a smaller kind of ping-pong with great view for back then for right now.

Who made the first video game and whyÉ

According to Marry Bellies In 1952, A.S. Douglas wrote his PhD degree at the University of Cambridge on Human-Computer interaction. Douglas created the first graphical computer game - a version of Tic-Tac-Toe. The game was programmed on an EDSAC vacuum-tube computer, which had a cathode ray tube display. William Higginbotham them created the first video game ever in 1958. His game, called "Tennis for Two," was created and played on a Brookhaven National Laboratory oscilloscope. In 1962, Steve Russell invented Space war! was the first game intended for computer use. Russell used a MIT PDP-1 mainframe computer to design his game.

What year was the first video game made?

The first video game was made on 10/18/1958 that was the actual video game was tennis for two that was the real first video game and Tic TAC Toe was the first computer game not the first video game.

What was the first video game called?

According to Mary Bellies Douglas created the first graphical computer game - a version of Tic-Tack-Toe. The game was programmed on an EDSAC vacuum-tube computer, which had a cathode ray tube, displays so the first Video\Computer game was called Tic-Tac-Toe.

History of Video games

Why did they make video games? According to Jeff Tyson In 1958, William Higginbotham, then head of BNL's Instrumentation Division, designed what may have been one of the first video games. Back then, Brookhaven had visitorŐs days in the fall, and thousands of people came to tour t  he Lab and see  exhibits set up in the gymnasium. HigginbothamŐs game was an illustration of what the Instrumentation Division could design and build so actually to do something enjoyin  g at your very house and not have to go to other places

What video game made the most money?

According to Jeff Tyson Halo made the most money out of all of the video games and it still is making money and getting more money after the new produces the are making so thatŐs why Halo is making so much money.

What Developments have video games made for videogames

According to William Hunters, Video games have come a long way since William Higginbotham re-made a old-fashioned screen into a tennis game at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. In fact, video gaming has turned into a multi-billion-dollar business, and more people than ever are playing. Games have become more realistic and kids are really getting into them, thanks to microprocessors that can handle the really hard mathematics behind shading and texture mapping. As games become more realistic, more people join in the fun. The exaggeration behind some games even leads to disappointment when developers run out of money or have other problems that force them to abandon games before they can be released. Video game development has led to a number of amazing innovations, such as the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo's video game development arm has added other unique controllers, including a balance board that allows players to control in-game characters by shifting their body weight. One game, Wii Fit, lets players use the balance board to walk tightropes and spin hula-hoops. Some people even think the Wii helps gamers lose weight. Believe it or not, there are real-life applications for video gaming skills -- research suggests that doctors who play games improve their surgical skills. There's a dark side to the popularity of video games, however; some think that the violence found in some titles has led to incidents of real-life violence.

What is the last game station made?

They said that the last one that is coming out that the are really sure of is the PS4 but they are planning on making way more than just like ten or eleven Sony's PS3, while doing way better than last year, is still struggling behind the Xbox 360 in both unit sales and software sales. They have sold 17 million PS3s worldwide compared to Xbox 360s 25 million units. Software wise Sony has gain more ground this year than the previous 2 years with hits like MGS4, Little big planet, resistance 2, and soon to be release kill zone 2, etc. Sony still has a lot of catching up to do to match the 360. That sums up whatŐs happening currently with Sony, lets look to the future.

How Video Games work

What kinds of video game are there? According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Video games are primarily meant for entertainment. However, some video games are made (at least in part) for other reasons. These include averages, educational games, propaganda games (e.g. militiamen), and others. Many of these fall under the category of serious games

What are the glitches that video games have? Software errors not detected by software testers during development can find their way into released versions of computer and video games. This may happen because the glitch only occurs under unusual circumstances in the game, was deemed too minor to correct, or because the game development was hurried to meet a publication deadline. Glitches can range from minor graphical errors to serious bugs that can delete saved data or cause the game to malfunction. In some cases publishers will release updates (referred to as patches) to repair glitches.

How many people can play in one video game? According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Video gaming has traditionally been a social experience. From its early beginnings, video games have commonly been playable by more than a single player. Multiplayer video games are those that can be played either competitively or cooperatively by using either multiple input devices, or by hot seating. Tennis for Two, arguably the first video game, was a two-player game, as was its successor Pong. The first commercially available game console, the Magnavox Odyssey, had two controller inputs.

Since then, most consoles have been shipped with two or four controller inputs. Some have had the ability to expand to four, eight or as many as twelve inputs with additional adapters, such as the Multitap. Multiplayer arcade games typically feature play for two to four players, sometimes tilting the monitor on its back for a top-down viewing experience allowing players to sit opposite one another.

What Modifications have video games made? According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Games running on a PC are often designed with end-user modifications in mind,[citation needed] and this consequently allows modern computer games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty. These moods can add an extra dimension of replay ability and interest. The Internet provides an inexpensive medium to promote and distribute moods, and they have become an increasingly important factor in the commercial success of some games.[citation needed] Developers such as id Software, Valve Software, Crytek, Epic Games and Blizzard Entertainment ship their games with the very development tools used to make the game in the first place, along with documentation to assist mod developers, which allows for the kind of success seen by popular mods such as the (previously) Half-Life mod

Conclusion

So now you probably have enough information to learn the history of video games in the past. Video games can have its bad and good.
