So, What is a smart phone? It's a phone with no wires. They are way cool, kind of like a laptop. There's not really an "offical" definition.  It uses an operating system (company that makes it) and people make programs for it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


What features do they have? It can e-mail off of it.  You can surf the Internet.  You can use e-book to learn new books, etc.  You can use a wi-fi to connect with.  You can use a keyboard, just like a little computer.

 

 

 

 

 

 


What are some different kinds of smart phones? Smartphones can send and recive calls, communicate with computers, email, IM, play music and videos, and run hundreds of apps.

What is a hybrid car?

This paragraph is about the word hybrid. According to Julia Layton, the word hybrid means two of anything.  So, something that has TWO power sources is a hybrid.  That's why we call cars who use gas and electricity hybrids.

What are some examples of hybrids, besides a car? Some examples of non-car hybrids are trains, buses, and submarines.  The trains and the buses use diesel fuel and electricity.  The submarines use nuclear power and electricity.

What is a hybrid car? A hybrid car has two sources of power.  First, it has a gasoline engine.  Second, it has an electric motor.

How much less pollution does a hybrid create (Than a normal car)? Research.  Flavor.
