Intro

HAY People!!! Read my report and Ill give you a banana! This is about The DVR and what it is, the history, and how it works

What is it?

What is a DVR According to Jonathan, A DVR records live television. It is better than a VCR where you can only play tapes. Then a guy came up with a DVR with like Comcast or dish network. A DVR is way better than a VCR..

Who invented the DVR, when was the DVR made, how much money can you save with DVR, is there such thing as a hybrid DVR? According to wikipedia, the first to invent was LG. In 2007. At least $500 a year. No. This is weird.

The History

WHY did they make a DVR? According to Jonathan, because the cassette tapes got tangled and could only run an hour of show. A VCR is like stringy pizza that is too messy. A DVR is like a nice notso stringy pizza.

What does DVR stand for? According to Jonathan, it stands for, Digital video recorder, or DVR. Like a really awesome video game.

What's so special about DVR? According to Jonathan, the DVR is tape less. You can also access it to be able to use it remotely. You can pause live TV, (that is amazing!). You can record live shows.  It is like a really awesome piece of pizza!

How it works

HOW to put a hard drive in your DVR? According to Jonathan, It is not that easy. It takes a master to do it. If you donŐt do it right you will get shocked. You can use Linux operating system to help. It is like a nuclear reactor that is about to explode (stretched to far).

What are some buttons on a DVR remote? According to Jonathan, There is the off and on button, the mute button that turns off the volume, the mute button that turns off the volume, the number buttons, you can type numbers. This was really awesome!
