Introduction

Have you felt like doing to things at the same time well IÕm going to tell you about the hybrid car itÕs really fun to learn about I might have lots of topics of hybrid cars I donÕt know how many I need! #(

What it is

In this topic we will be talking about how much gas did the first hybrid car save. According to Toyota.com, the first hybrid used only half the gas as regular cars and saves energy when it stops. It runs on less electricity and less gasoline. And thanks to the hybrid car we will not need more air pollution (confused I thought so).

This paragraph is about the word Ōhybrid.Ķ  According to Julia Layton, the word hybrid means two of anything.  So, something that has TWO power sources is a hybrid.  That's why we call cars that use gas and electricity hybrids.  I think itÕs pretty amazing that

History

This topic is about a guy who says he invented hybrid cars history. Many years before the Prius, a guy named Victor Wouk claims to have invented the hybrid.  He was an inventor.   He was young and excited. Very excited if you ask me if I invented the hybrid car IÕd be too excited too speak!

This paragraph is about what the guy said. According to Julia Layton, the first hybrid used only half the gas as regular cars and a guy named Victor Wouk has said this "I invented the hybrid car" but we don't who invented the hybrid car but if Mr. Wouk I am really happy he did!

How it works

This paragraph is about non-car hybrids. According to Julia Layton, some examples of non-car hybrids are trains, buses,

and submarines.  The trains and the buses use diesel fuel and electricity.  The submarines use nuclear power and electricity.

This paragraph is about how a hybrid shuts off its engine.  According to Julia Layton, a hybrid can shut off its own engine. When it stops but the hybrid car really has 2 engines it runs on an electric- motor and a gasoline motor it runs on the electric motor on to run smoothly and goes really quite. And the gasoline -motor goes really fast and really loud with the help of the electric motor. This paragraph is example of hybrid cars. According to Julia Layton Some examples of non-car hybrids are trains, buses, and submarines.  The trains and the buses use diesel fuel and electricity.  The submarines use nuclear power and electricity. Wow that is very interesting about non-car hybrids.

Conclusion

I hope you liked my report so thanks a million!
