A police robot guide

By Demi Lavoto

Intro

Have you ever seen a robot with something in his or her hand and he of her is speeding to the middle of nowhere, if you have, you have seen a police robot; and he was saving lives. In this report I will tell you how police robots save lives, what they do, cool stuff, and much-much more.

They arenÕt the same

This paragraph is about how police robots arenÕt all the same. According to Jonathan Strickland a few companies have police robots. Police robot models are never the same, all though share looks, how they work, and function.  Police robots are probably boring to talk to if they have gadgets that make them able to talk to, I think that they will have different personalities, but all they would talk about is how they are like police, and say they should get back to work.

The History of police robots

This paragraph is about why police robots were invented. According to Jonathan Strickland police robots were invented because if someone needs help and police aren't there this police robot can save them, or if they can't handle the situation they can push a button on they're armor body and contact the police, and they tell drunk guys to go home, or something like that. I think that police robots are a cool invention, and because of it, I think that in the future robots are going to be everywhere because there are more robots because of POLICE robots.

This paragraph is about how police robots might change in time. According to Jonathan Strickland police robots might be more autonomous needing someone to call shots from the command consol. Police Robots are expensive and need help at first, and that probably won't change. If I had a police robot I would have him as protection in case a robber comes, and IÕd have him go to the store to buy my puppy food, because I think that in time non police can have police robots, and they wonÕt only be saving lives.

How police robots work

This paragraph is about what batteries they need. According to Jonathan Strickland most robots need hefty batteries, and acid batteries, they use that same batteries in cars. Police Robots weigh over 800 pounds, making them need a big level of power, so I'm guessing they need really big batteries. In the future I think that police robots wonÕt need to so much power as they do now, I think that there is going to be a small skinny little batterie to power a police robot.

This paragraph is about how police officers control them. According to Jonathan Strickland police officers do control them, They are like a toy car, that you control of course. Police Robots could be may be wireless or have cable tethering, but that depends on the model. In the future IÕm pretty sure that they will all be wireless causing it to be easier to use. If I saw a police robot, I think that I would try to experiment on it and see if it will take a command from me.

This paragraph is about what police robots do. According to Jonathan Strickland Police Robots move bombs or shut them off. The main reason they were invented is to stop explosions. Some of them are highly mobile and have cool gadgets, causing them to be very useful for police. Police robots do really cool stuff, they were invented for a good reason and if I am about to be exploded into pieces, IÕll know who to call.

This paragraph is about how they canÕt make their own desisions. According to Jonathan Strickland they can't make they're own decisions if they tried, they canÕt even think their own stuff. They just do whatever police tell them to do, they're kind of like a toy car. If I had a police robot I would tell him to do what he wants!

Cool Stuff

This paragraph is about how some robots can actually climb stairs.  According to Jonathan Strickland Yes, some police robots can climb stairs, because some of them can flex to meet the ground, but they don't have legs because it is hard to design the robot with legs. They have easily replaced wheels. I think that if I had a police robot I would have one that would climb stairs, because that would be cool.

This paragraph is about how someone would really surrender to a police robot. According to Boing Boing a person would surrender himself to a police robot. The picture shows a person on a wheelchair with hands up and there is a police robot pointing something at him. Looks like Warren Taylor would surrender to a police robot, he lied saying he was carrying bomb things, then he gave up and let go of the three people he was holding. If I were him I wouldnÕt have even tried to do something as dumb as what he tried to do.

This paragraph is about how police robots are common. According to Brad many Companies are selling police robots being sold at high prices. Two of his friends have seen police robots, so they are not rare. If I saw a police robot I wouldnÕt be surprised because now I know the truth.

This paragraph is about. According to Declan McCullah my answer to the question "What could police use instead of police robots?" is a police robot dog!! He sniffs like a real dog to track stuff down. If I had a police robot dog, I would treat him like a real dog, but he would protect me.
