The Coolness of Video Games!

By: Someone you don’t want to know about.

Intro

Do you like to play video games? Do you know what video games are? Well I am going to show you how cool video games are! You will read about what video games are and how they work.  You can also see how they make a video game or who invented the first video game.

How they make a video game

This paragraph is about the history of video games. This report is going to talk about a lot of things pertaining to video games like, how do they make a video game or what a video game is or how do video games work. According to Ralph H. Baer video games development is similar to traditional software. It starts with a studio or individual who has the courage to create a game. An early plan is created to determine the games genre and what it wants to offer to gamers. Costs for development are also estimated and other development plans are put into action. I like video games because they are awesome!

What a video game is

This one is about what a video game is. According to Wikipedea video games are played at the arcade, at home on a television or personal computer, and as a handheld portable game. They are packaged in large consoles, game packs that can only be played on the same manufacturer's hardware (i.e. Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and Sony Play station), and as CD-ROMs. Play station is awesome!!!!!

How Video Games Work

This paragraph is about when they first came out.  According to HowStuffWorks.com home video game systems, also known as consoles, are a popular form of entertainment. In 2000, Sony estimated that one out of every four households in the United States had a Sony PlayStation. Since then the numbers have only increased, with systems like the Nintendo Wii luring the Holy Grail of the video game market: the casual gamer. Well, now I know how a video game works!

The name of the first video game system invented

This paragraph is about the first video game system invented. According to Ralph H. Baer the Magnavox Odyssey is the world's first video game console. It was first demonstrated in May 1972 and released that fall, predating the Atari Pong home consoles by several years, The Odyssey was designed by Ralph Baer, who had a working prototype finished by 1968. This prototype, known as the "Brown Box", is now at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. Cool!!!

Who helped with making the first video game

This paragraph is about who helped with making the first video game. According to Thomas T Goldsmith Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney created a coin-operated arcade version of Space war! And called it Computer Space. Knotting partners bought the game and manufactured 1,500 Computer Space machines, with the release, taking place in November 1971. The game was unsuccessful due to its steep learning curve, but was a landmark as the first mass-produced video game and the first offered for commercial sale. I didn’t know that. It’s cool!

Conclusion

There was a video game called “Tennis For Two” and it was the first video gam

e ever invented. You probably think they played it on a regular T.V. but they played it on a computer simulator that is actually made for this kind of game. That’s it I’m done so you can press the button on the video game system and start playing while I be quiet. Go on press the button. PRESS THE BUTTON NOW! You are starting to annoy me! You better press the button before you meet your doom. O.k. fine. Be that way, gees! You already pressed the button?…………I’m leaving now.
