History of the S.W.A.T.

This paragraph will talk about when the S.W.A.T. was started, who started it and more!  According to www.nps.gov, the S.W.A.T. was invented in 1975 by inspector Daryl Gates. ThatŐs 35 yrs. HOLY COW!!!

The oldest remaining S.W.A.T. officer of the first team is James Gnew. He started working in 1975 and recently left the force.

What is S.W.A.T?

This paragraph is about what S.W.A.T. stands for, how they train, and what guns they use. According to www.funtrivia.com S.W.A.T. stands for Special Weapons And Tactics. www.wikipedia.org says, the S.W.A.T. is trained to do high-risk operations that ordinary police officers canŐt do. Sounds exciting!

According to www.nps.gov. The S.W.A.T. team uses a variety of guns like the submachine gun, the assault rifle and sniper rifle, and other weaponry. That must be hard to carry around.

Finally! TASER FACTS!

This paragraph tells aboutÉthe taser. According to www.bestezines.com a human heart and a pacemaker can both withstand the force of a taser. And they arenŐt even considered firearms; in1994, and 1998 the ATF stated that tasers are non-firearms.
