#1 have you wanted to see in the dark like a cat or snake or something? Here it is you can now see in the dark with how the night vision works and its history. #2 Now have you been driving in your car and realized that your low on gas and you see a gas station but you donÕt go get gas because of MONEY! And you end up on the side of the road with no gas. Well if you only knew about the hybrid. It saves gas, it has a good history and it works well thatÕs what Ill be telling you about!!! P.S the money car is called the money car cause it saves money once you get it but when you try to by it, itÕs a lot of money! GET IT!J

When were they first used? When were the first night vision goggles used? In World War II both armyÕs used night vision goggles. They said they could see like animas, which was really nice. The war actually lasted longer because somewhat of the night vision goggles. Night vision goggles were first used in World War I. So thatÕs why the war lasted longer! TA-DA!J
How Hybrids Save Gas
This paragraph is about how a hybrid saves gas by stepping on the brake. According to Julia Layton, one way a hybrid gets such good gas mileage is that it is able to recover energy from the car and store it in its battery. For example, when you step on the brake, rather than waste the energy on heat, it captures the energy and sends it back to the battery. Getting energy from pressing on the brake? This is awesome! It would be like getting money for old toys that you donÕt even want any more.

Because the hybrid has an extra power source (the electric motor), it just turns off the gas engine, when it doesn't need it. driving on the freeway, most of the work your engine does goes into pushing the
car through the air. This force is known as aerodynamic drag. This drag force
can be reduced in a variety of ways. One sure way is to reduce the frontal area
of the car. Think of how a big SUV has to push a much greater area through the
air than a tiny sports car.
Reducing disturbances around objects that stick out from the car or eliminating them altogether can also help to improve the aerodynamics. For example, covers over the wheel housings smooth the airflow and reduce drag. And sometimes, mirrors are replaced with small cameras. Another way hybrids get such good gas mileage is by reducing wind-resistance. When your car is zipping down the freeway at 75 mph, it has to push through a lot of wind (have you ever stuck your hand out the window at 75 mph?). Another way hybrids get such good gas mileage is because they have an onboard computer that continually calculates how much power is needed. The computer does a great job of saving gas because you only use gas when you really need it (like speeding up). For your entire ride, the computer will be calculating when to let the gasoline engine do all the work and how much of a boost it needs from the electric motor. Because of the intermittent (but powerful) assist from the electric motor, the gasoline engine can achieve basically the same performance as a conventional car even when it has a smaller, more efficient size.

As the pump clicked past $20, $30, $40 or even $50, maybe you thought about trading in your car for something that gets better mileage. When it needs electricity to re-charge, it gets it. Electric motor - The electric motor on a hybrid car is very sophisticated. Advanced electronics allow it to act as a motor as well as a generator. For example, when it needs to, it can draw energy from the batteries to accelerate the car. But acting as a generator, it can slow the car down and return energy to the batteries.
